Pre- cleaning preparation
Here’s a short list of steps you can take to prepare your home for carpet cleaning and to make our job a little bit easier:
- Vacuum, Vacuum, Vacuum, This is the most important step to a great clean. We do not include this in our price to save you money. If you wish we can vacuum, let us know when you make your appointment.
- Take a look around. Make a note of any stains or problem areas that you will need to point out to us when we arrive. Now is a good time to see if additional areas need cleaning too.
- Pick up any toys or clothes from the floor of your kids rooms.
- Computer equipment, china cabinets, entertainment centers, antique and fragile furniture cannot be moved. However, carpet underneath such items can be cleaned where sufficient room is available, or we can edge right around the base.
- Move pictures, lamps or other breakables in rooms we’re cleaning.
- Please pin up any full-length draperies so that they will be at least 6 inches off the floor. (metal hangers work well)
- If you have questions about what furniture we can move, please make arrangements when scheduling appointments.
- Please put your pets in a safe, quiet place where our cleaning won't disturb them.
- If possible, leave the parking spot closest to your front door open so that we can more easily get our equipment into the house.
- If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice so that we may refill your appointment time.
